The Spadoni SRO reverse osmosis system (F-31) is a useful mechanism to reduce the percentage of water by extraction and, consequently, to increase the concentration of the sugar and of all the other organoleptic elements present in the grape must. This allows for the concentration of aromas, perfumes, extracts, organic acids, phenolic components and anthocyanins and everything that enriches the must, which will, in turn, favore the increase of its body, improving the structure, the alcohol content, and the colour of the future wine.
The FTS Series crossflow filter is widely used for crossflow microfiltration. It guarantees filtration, polishing and microbiological stabilization in a single operation, all without the use of filtration aids such as diatomaceous earth.
In support of the systems dedicated to the world of beer production, Spadoni produces a line of accessories (B-38) dedicated to grinding (mills) and to the transport of raw materials for malt production.
The Spadoni flotation units combine the most advanced technologies and the best components with a range of accessories that allow the automatic operation of the system, like insulated and heated gelatin tanks, control thermostats, no-gelatin alarm probes, etc.
Spadoni’s housings for liquids (F-29) are used to contain filter cartridges (from 10 “to 40” with micrometry from 0.1µm to 5µm) or lenticular modules for microfiltration to eliminate particles and bacteria from wine or other liquids. Generally, to avoid product contamination and to ensure a high quality result, they are used immediately before the bottling/packaging stage.
Spadoni’s systems for beer production are efficient and easy to use. Equipped with automatic controls and the appropriate technical devices, they guarantee brewmasters the greatest freedom in production, and the possibility to optimise the process, making it controllable and reproducible.
The Spadoni product range dedicated to the brewing industry includes a full range of stainless steel tanks (from 12 to 300 Hl). From simple storage tanks to mixers, heaters/coolers, fermenters, and any other type of stainless steel container that the customer specifications might require.
The Spadoni MAGNUM plate press-filter for 60×60 cartons (F-21) is used for the fine filtration or the sterilizing of liquids containing minimal quantities of impurities. Reliable and highly productive, MAGNUM is ideal for large, high quality, hourly productions.
Cross flow filtration is one of the most innovative and effective methods in the industrial processes of the food and wine sectors, and offers performances that none of the other solid-liquid separation processes can match.
Spadoni’s housings for gas (F-30) are suited for filter cartridges ranging from 5″ to 40″. Systems can be built with housing for 1 to 60 cartridges, and are available with bayonet connections (cod. 7) or with DOE industrial couplings.
Spadoni tanks are containers specifically built for the food industry with 18-10 stainless steel (AISI 304). Along with the more typical storage function, these talks are ideal also for mixing and heating or cooling.
Spadoni’s yeast propagation systems (A-71) contribute to obtaining greater control in the brewing processes, offer greater opportunities for experimentation and, at the same time, facilitate uniform and fermented production with high quality yeasts.
The Spadoni tunnel pasteurizers are single – or multistage – systems with heat recovery for the pasteurization of products packaged in glass, cans and PET dedicated to the food and canning industries. Due to the specific nature of their use, Spadoni’s tunnel pasteurizers can be customized to meet the exact needs of each customer.
Spadoni’s plate heat exchangers are perfect for liquid cooling and heat recovery in tartaric stabilization systems. Made with AISI 306 stainless steel plates set on an 18-10 stainless steel (AISI 304) frame, they offer reduced dimensions, high flexibility, and higher counter-current degrees and heat exchange coefficients, for greater thermal efficiency.
Asso is a rotary drum filter with a mechanical vacuum filtration system, ideal for the continuative and automatic processing of liquids with a concentration of solid suspension, such as must, lees and, in general, products from the beverage, food, chemical, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors.
The Spadoni KAPPA press-filter allows both roughing and polishing of the product, depending on the different porosity of the cardboard used. With the use of specific accessories, the Spadoni KAPPA (F-20) plate filter presses for cardboards can be adapted to work – always with excellent results – on a wide range of products: wine; beer; vinegar; distillates; water; fruit juices; syrups; oil; chemical, pharmaceutical or industrial products.
Alfa Magic is a press-filtering system with chambers that separate the solid particles from the fluid. Particularly, Alfa Magic is appreciated in the wine industry – to separate the must from the fermentation and decantation lees – and in the brewing processes, as well as in all applications that imply filtering through separation/extraction.
Vertical plate alluvial filters are particularly suitable for the filtration of liquids with solid particles in suspension, such as edible oils, juices, wine, vinegar, milk and derivatives, and, because of their technical characteristics, they are especially recommended for processing the roughing of the product.
The Flash pasteurizer with plate heat exchange allows for the thermal treatment of liquids with automatic control of both the pasteurisation and the cooling temperatures. For these reasons, Flash is particularly suitable for all productions in which preserving the characteristics of the foods being processed unaltered over time is critical.
Ideal for the refrigeration of musts, juices, and wine, up to the freezing point, the Spadoni POLAR scraped body coolers (C-48) are characterized not only by high efficiency, but also by a modern line and the very best components.
Hopback hopping and hop rocket are two systems for this practice: the first is inserted – in line – between the whirlpool and fermentation phases, while the second is generally defined as “cold” since the hops are added in the fermentation or maturation stages.
